Drug-free in vitro fertilization is a procedure that involves picking up the egg, which grows and matures naturally, immediately before the hatching phase and fertilizing it outside the body with in vitro fertilization method. Here, only one picked up egg is fertilized with microinjection method, a good embryo is obtained and conception is achieved with the embryo transfer.
Who are good candidates of drug-free in vitro fertilization?
Patients who do not respond to traditional in vitro fertilization form the major group of patients that drug-free in vitro fertilization is recommended for. It is also appropriate for women with low ovarian reserve, who do not want to use medicines, who are at advanced age and for whom one or two eggs can be picked up despite high-dose drug administration.
